My Best Friend | |
(by Rachel Williams) | |
There are all sorts of friends Some better than others But the best in the world Are the ones we call mothers She holds me at night When I'm too scared to sleep And she teaches me things That forever I'll keep She helps me to learn About right, about wrong And she shows me just how To be brave and be strong She's more than just pretty She's beautiful and fine She's the best in the world And I'm glad that she's mine No matter how far Or how long it will be Forever and ever My best friend she will be.
